Albert H. "Alley Cat" Thomas, 97, of Forks Township, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021, in his home.  He was the loving husband of Debra A. (Frank) Thomas.  They celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary in August.

Born in Frackville, he was a son of the late Isaac and Catherine (Carbell) Thomas, and was raised by David and Sarah Davies since the age of three.

A graduate of Gilberton High School, he attended Temple University.  He retired as a supervisor at Lucent Technologies (formerly Western Electric) in 1985 after 36 years of service.  He faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII in the South Pacific Theatre earning three Bronze Stars.

The last of 13 children, he is survived by his wife, Debra; daughter Sandra L. Boger (Jere) of Auburn, PA; son David A. Thomas (Katie) of Middlefield, OH; four grandchildren, Rachel Olsen, Jami Clauser, Lauren Burrus and Paul Thomas; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Donna Fye (Donald) and Linda Baltz (George); niece Melissa Fye and nephew Eric Baltz.

Albert was a member of the Bethlehem Lodge No. 283 F. & A.M. Formerly from Hellertown, Slatington and Murrels Inlet, South Carolina, he was a jack of all trades who loved to tell jokes.  While he resided in Hellertown he belonged to St. Paul United Methodist Church where he was Superintendent of the Sunday school and sang in the choir.  He belonged to the Penn Forest Hunt Club and Silver Creek Athletic Association.

An avid outdoorsman, Albert enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, camping, cooking, baking, gardening, playing Muggins, riding roller coasters and attending stock car races at Dorney Park.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 1, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by burial with military honors in Bethlehem Memorial Park.  Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 at which time a Masonic Service will be held.
