Alice H. Meder, a resident of Riverton Rehabilitation, Allentown,  passed away on Tuesday, February 15, at age 97. Born in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Alice (Brady) Holland. Her loving husband, Clement W. Meder, Jr. passed away in 1992.

Alice was a member of the Bethlehem High School Class of 1942 and a graduate of the St. Luke's School of Nursing. She worked as a nursing supervisor at St. Luke's Hospital. After her nursing career, she became a teacher at St. Cyril & Methodius School in Bethlehem. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and a member of St. Luke's Schools of Nursing Alumni Association.

Alice is survived by four children: Jayne Mignogno and her husband, Michael of Apex, NC; Michael Meder and his wife, Marilyn of Macungie, PA; Anne Racca, and her husband, Butch of Iowa, LA; Joseph Meder and his wife Mary of Philadelphia, PA.; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She also has a sister Margaret Jaynes of Rochester, NY. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert H. Holland of Bethlehem.

Services which are private at the convenience of the family are being arranged by Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association.
