Anthony N. DeAngelis, Sr., 82, of Hellertown, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020, in his home.  He was the husband of Susan J. (Fink) DeAngelis.  They celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary in September.

Born in Allentown, Anthony was a son of the late Luciano and Josephine (DeBucci) DeAngelis.

He was employed as a purchasing agent at J. G. Furniture, Quakertown.

Anthony was a faithful member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, where he was the Hand Bell Choir director, served on Church Council, and as an usher.  He was the team coach for the Church Basketball League, belonged to the Golf League and Interchurch Dart Baseball Team.  He was the D.J. for many church youth functions.  Tony played the saxophone in the Royal Dukes, Scotland Yard and Up Front where he also was band leader.  He belonged to the Dutch Country Players theater group where he was an actor and director.

Surviving with his wife, Susan, are sons, Michael of Milford, NJ and Anthony, Jr. of Hellertown; daughters, Maria Metzgar of Stockertown, Tracie Drayton of Bethlehem and Gina DeAngelis of Bethlehem; a brother, Gaetano DeAngelis of Schnecksville; nine grandchildren, Jesse, Breanna, Allen, Franscesca, Trevor, Alisia, Ciarra, Tyrin and Ava; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Anakin, Aubreigh, Braxten and Alexis.

Funeral services and burial in Arlington Memorial Park will be private.  Family and friends are invited to viewing hours Friday, November 6, from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
