Anthony L. Fugazzi, 93, passed away July 24, 2026, in his residence. His beloved wife of 74 years, Rose (Digiovancarlo) Fugazzi, passed away two weeks ago on July 7, 2026.

Born in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late Anthony and Beatrice (Casazza) Fugazzi.

He was employed as the building manager for US Trust Bank for 30 years before retiring.

Anthony enjoyed old movies, country music, and tinkering with projects in his garage. The most precious parts of his life were spending time with family and sitting in the outdoors admiring nature.

Surviving are three loving  daughters: Anne Marie Backlund (Edward) of Staten Island, NY, Carol Scarangello (John) of Nazareth, and Mary Volpe (Joseph) of Bethlehem Township; beloved grandchildren: Joseph (Kayte), Christopher (Klearsi), John Michael (Brianna), Danny, John (Joanna), Kristen, and Katie; and beloved great-grandchildren: Sydney, Luke, Reid, Donato, Camila, Cozette, and Isabella. He was predeceased by a grandson Carl.

There will be a Visitation for family and friends on Friday, July 31, from 11:00 AM until 1:45 PM in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, followed by a Service in Bethlehem Memorial Park Mausoleum at 2:00 PM prior to entombment.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
