August "Gus" Seidenberger, 89, of Bethlehem, died Sunday, July 2, 2017, in his home surrounded by his family.  He was the husband of Louise T. (Brunelli) Seidenberger.  They celebrated their 50th anniversary in February.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late August and Anna (Evrard) Seidenberger.

A U.S. Navy veteran, Gus earned a bachelor's degree from Lehigh University.  He was employed as an accountant in the Mining Division of the Bethlehem Steel Co. before retiring.

Survivors: Wife, Louise; son, Jonathon Minnich of Grantville; daughters, Pamela (Albert) Irizarry of Chestnut Ridge, NY and Kym Steinberg of Los Angeles, Calif.; brother, James (Victoria) of Royersford; grandsons, Jonathon and Daniel; step-grandchildren, Joshua (Ita), Cody and Alyssa; great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Raphael.  He was predeceased by siblings David and Jean.

Services: A Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 17, in Assumption Church, 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem.
