Barbara Ann Renninger - Altieri, 82, of Salisbury Township, died November 28, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of Louis M. Altieri, Sr. with whom she celebrated 63 years of marriage in July, 2021.

Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Gussie (Wert) Renninger.

A 1956 graduate of Liberty High School, Barbara was employed by Bethlehem Steel, Kraft, and retired from Durkee Foods.

She was a member of St. Ursula's Roman Catholic Church, Fountain Hill.  She loved baking, going to the family cabin and visits to the casino.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Barbara will be deeply missed by all.

Surviving with her husband Louis are daughter Ledra Altieri-Scherr; sons Louis Altieri (Kerry) and Chris Altieri; 9 grandchildren, Adriana (Jonathan, Broc (Alice), Samantha, Shay (Spenser), Ciara (Jake), Larissa (Levi), Alexa, Gabrielle and Korrah; 9 great-grandchildren, Estevan, Anastasia, Symond, Louis, Samuel, Gabriel, Israel, Melanie and Rowan and awaiting the birth of two unborn great-grandchildren in 2022; sister Eva Lehr and sisters-in-law Liz and Arlene Renninger.  She was predeceased by siblings, June, Doris, Johnny, Thomas and Charles.

A Prayer Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 6, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by entombment in Holy Saviour Cemetery.  Family and friends may call Monday from 9 - 11 a.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flower memorial donations may be sent to St. Ursula Church, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Disease.
