Barbara A. Herman, 77, of Upper Saucon Township, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 28, 2017.  Her husband of 38 years, Dr. Roman K. Herman, M.D. died in 2000.Born in Dingman's Ferry, she was a daughter of the late John Leonard and Ruth (VanSant) Snyder.

Barbara graduated from St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing and was employed as a registered nurse.

She is a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

Survivors: Daughters, Krysia (James) Roberts of Emmaus, Ruth of Fountain Hill, Marie (Randy) Thomas of Emmaus, Heidi (Dr. Peter) Ender of Center Valley and Catherine (Steven) Parker of Westfield, NJ; sons, Joseph (Heather) and John, all of Bethlehem; brother, Richard Snyder of Albany, NY; and thirteen grandchildren.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 1, in the church, 617 Pierce Street, Bethlehem, followed by burial in Holy Saviour Cemetery.
