Barbara D. Iannelli, 74, of Walnutport, passed away Monday, August 2, 2021.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Mildred (Kutz) Stoudt.

Barbara earned her bachelor's degree from Kutztown University and taught first grade at Lincoln Elementary School in the BASD for more than 40 years before retiring.

She was a devoted member of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem.  Barbara was extremely involved in all aspects of ministry at the church.  She chaired the Altar Guild, taught Sunday school, sang in the choir, served on Camp staff, belonged to the Order of Companions, mentored through Education for Ministries and numerous other groups within the church.  Her imprint is evident on every aspect of parish life at the Cathedral.  She freely shared her gift for embracing those who needed a little extra love and care.  One of the last posts Barbara shared was "Everyone is our neighbor", a sentiment that reflects the manner in which she lived her life.

Surviving are her son, Gene, and his wife Rachel of Hellertown; her beloved grandson, Joseph; brothers, James Kutz of Allentown, Gary Stoudt of Indiana, PA and Rick Stoudt in Florida; a sister, Barbara Jean Muscatell of Allentown.

A memorial service for relatives and close friends will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021, in the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem.  Due to COVID protocol limits on seating capacity in the church, the family strongly encourage viewing the service via livestream at https://livestream.com/nativitycathedral/events/9784655.  Those choosing to be in attendance must be masked and read the church COVID protocols at nativitycathedral.org.
