Bruce D. Kleppinger, 78, of Bethlehem, died Saturday, December 22, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.  He was the husband of Claire (Brish) Kleppinger.  They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary in September.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Rolland and Grace (Ruch) Kleppinger.

Bruce was retired from the US Navy and also repaired musical instruments.

A member of Advent Moravian Church, he belonged to the Marine Band of Allentown, Hanover Township Society for the Preservation of Big Band Sound in America, Veterans Association of Military Musicians and the Penn View Brass Band. He was a model railroad enthusiast and was a member of the Black Diamond Society of Model Engineers.

Surviving with his wife are a daughter, Tracy Bozik of Northampton; three grandchildren, Mitchell, Cameron and Madison.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
