Carla Kay Sallash, 81, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away June 30, 2023 in Country Meadows. Her husband of 59 years, Dr. Robert J. Sallash, died in 2021.

Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Charles Allen and Gladys (Balliet) Dinstel.

A long time member of First Baptist Church in Bethlehem, Carla sang in the choir, played in the bell choir, served on the facilities team and was a youth group leader. Her most cherished role was that of loving wife and mother.

Surviving are children, Carlene Braun (Mark) of Huntsville, AL, Beth Gonzalez (Fidel) of Bath, Kathy Lyons (Bob) of Franklin, TN, Robert Sallash (Lynn) of Emmaus, and Gretchen Enright of San Clemente, CA; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, July 8, in First Baptist Church, followed by interment in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Family and friends may call Saturday from 9 – 10:15 AM in church.
