Carol J. Fixl-Boksan, 76, of Bethlehem, died Thursday. June 28, 2018, in St. Luke's Hospital.  She was the wife of Michael J. Boksan and the late Paul M. Fixl, who died in 1992.

Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Armstrong and Myrtle (Merwine) Mackey.

A long time hair stylist, Carol owned and operated Fixations Hair Design for 18 years before retiring in 2004.

Surviving with her husband, Michael are a daughter, Lisa Rader, and husband Arthur of Nazareth; a grandson, Mason; nieces and nephews; 5 step-grandchildren and 7 step-great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a sister, Patricia.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 6, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by interment in Nisky Hill Cemetery.  Family and friends may call 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, July 5, and also 10 - 11 a.m. Friday prior to the service.
