Carol Torok, 82, of Bethlehem, passed away November 20, 2023, with her family by her side.

She was born to the late James and Mary Jacoby,  on May 11, 1941, in Bethlehem, PA,  and was the youngest of five children.   Carol graduated from Liberty High School Class of 1960, and accepted a prestigious position with the Bethlehem Steel Executive Offices, and then went on to attend the St. Luke's School of Nursing.

She married Thomas Torok in 1961 and lived together in Bethlehem for sixty two years.  Carol is survived by three children: Lori Hefele, David Torok, and Gregg Torok.  She is also survived by five grandchildren, Kristina (Steve), Brad (Martina), Tyler, Parker (Victoria),  Brady, and two great-grandchildren Amelia Jo and Cora June.

Carol was an amazing wife and mother, had a deep appreciation and love for animals, and lived with an incredible zest for life, and love of God.  In her free time, she enjoyed writing poetry, traveling, baking,  and listening to classical music.  Carol was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.

Viewing will be held on Friday, November 24 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem.  The family insists that people make donations in support of the Center for Animal Health and Welfare, in lieu of sending flowers.
