Catherine G. Mohan, 98, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2022.  She was the wife of the late Thomas E. Mohan, who died in 1997.

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Rolland and Gertrude (Schroeder) Cheeseman.

Catherine was employed in the cafeteria at Buchanan Elementary School, and later as a sous chef at The Cafe. She was famous for her soups ,salad dressings and breakfast specials . The Salad Catherine was her signature dish. She was a member of the Church of the Manger- UCC, Bethlehem. Catherine loved her Church of the Manger family where for over 50 years, she was active in Christian Education and head of the Sunday School.

Surviving are daughters,  Catherine Ronca of Bethlehem, Linda Foley, and husband Edward of Lower Saucon Township and Patti Sakdiponephong, and husband Adisak of Bethlehem; three grandsons and two great-granddaughters.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 2, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem.
