Charles R. "Bushie" Veanus, III, 69, of Bethlehem, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022, in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill.

Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Charles Jr. and Helen (Orosky) Veanus.

He was self-employed as a general contractor for many years.

He will be remembered as a practical joker, and for his love of NASCAR, deep sea fishing and slow pitch softball.

Surviving are his significant other, Susan (Antry) Krumm, with whom he resided; his special friend, Sarah  (Moyer) Veanus of Bethlehem; daughters, Tammy Staudt of Schnecksville and Amanda Veanus-Rodriguez of Bethlehem Township; sister, Maryann Schoenberger of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Kyliegh, Konnor, Juliana, Aleviyah, Sianna, Skylar, Samantha, Shawn, Jr., Peighton and Jarrett.  He was predeceased by a brother John and a sister Roseann.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 5 PM - 9 PM at the Seidersville Democratic Association, 1383 Clearfield Avenue, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
