Charles F. McGonigle, Jr., 60, of Allentown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 23, in his home. He was the husband of Jennifer D. (Forster) McGonigle for the past 18 years.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Charles F. and Pauline (Palencar) McGonigle, Sr.

Charles was employed as an instrument technician at Merck & Company, Inc. at the West Point, PA facility. He enjoyed cooking and grilling, VW Jetta tuning, golfing, and UFC.

Surviving in addition to his wife Jennifer is a son, Cody and his wife Brittany of Lansdale, daughter Brynn LaCesa and her husband Carter of Catasauqua, step-son Robert Sklodowsky, Jr. of Bloomsbury, NJ, and grandsons; Wyatt, Kian, and Liam, as well as sisters; Deborah McGonigle, Maureen McGonigle, Christine Trinidad, Payge McGonigle, and Ariel Presser.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
