Charles L. Scitney, Jr., 82, of Bethlehem, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020, in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg.  He was the husband of Sandra L. (Lasso) Scitney.

Born in Weissport, he was a son of the late Charles L. Sr. and Beatrice (Andrews) Scitney.

Charles proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Independence and the USS Leyte.  He was employed as a supervisor in various aspects of the textile industry for many years before retiring.

He loved hunting, fishing and NASCAR, but especially watching his granddaughter, Hope Dunfee, play basketball and bowl.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and lending a helping hand to anyone who needed it at the Lutheran Manor where he resided with Linda.

Surviving with his wife Sandra, are her daughters, Tammy Dunfee and Wendy Cougle; his sons, David and Charles; his daughters, Cheryl and Jennifer; his sister, Pauline; half-siblings; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a son Todd and a daughter Lisa.
