Christine M. Allman, 92, of Bethlehem, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg.  Her husband of 35 years, Robert J. Allman, died February 19, 1990.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Conslato) Mastrocola.

She graduated from Moses Taylor Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse in 1951.  Following her marriage to Robert in 1954, they moved to Bethlehem where she was employed as an industrial nurse at the Bethlehem Steel Co.  She later worked as a float nurse at St. Luke's Hospital, then at Lehigh Valley Hospital until retiring in 1994.

She was a founding member of Notre Dame Catholic Church of Bethlehem (1954), and a member of the Le-Val Red Hatters Club.  She enjoyed gardening, reading non-fiction history, biographies and autobiographies.  Her love of family came first in all she did.  Some of those family events she enjoyed most were Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas Eve buffet, and the annual family reunion Fourth of July picnic during which she loved to sing Happy Birthday to America!

Surviving are children, Robert J. Allman, Jr, and wife Lina, David J. Allman and companion Pam, Christopher J. Allman and wife Julie, Elizabeth A. Walker and husband Scott; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 25, in Notre Dame Catholic Church.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in Notre Dame, followed by interment in Holy Saviour Cemetery.
