Clarence C. "Jonesy" Jones, 88, of Center Valley, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025. He and his wife, Margaret (Zellner) Jones, celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary in June.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late William Parry and Pearl (Hendricks) Jones.

A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was employed at PP&L for 25 years until retiring in 1995.

He was a very active member of Morningstar Moravian Church, Coopersburg. He belonged to the Catasauqua American Legion, LeGen, and was a 32nd degree Mason.

Jonesy was a golfer who liked old cars, especially his Camaro. He enjoyed birding and was very proud of his yard. He enjoyed life, but was happiest when spending time with his beloved grandchildren and family.

Surviving with his wife, Margaret, are a son Bruce Charles Jones, and his wife Renee of Midlothian, Texas; daughters Tammy Albenzi, and her husband David Fiorillo of Coopersburg, and Heather Bobeck, and her husband Brian of Allentown; grandchildren Shannen Jones, John Albenzi, Jr., Nicholas Albenzi, Alex Albenzi, Kaleigh Bobeck, and Sarah Grace Bobeck; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Reginald and William Jones and a sister Sarah Scheirer.

A memorial service has been planned for Saturday, April 5, at 3:00 PM in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA. Family and friends are invited to a calling hour from 2:00 PM until the service begins at 3:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN.
