Clarence R. Watson, 81, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully with his wife and daughters by his side on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.  He was the husband of Edith (Hughes) Watson for 61 years.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late John A. Sr. and Lela (Benson) Watson.

A Liberty High School graduate, Mr. Watson was Vice President of Data Processing at Union Bank before retiring.  He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War having served in Okinawa.

A member of St. John A.M.E. Zion Church, he was an avid bowler, golf enthusiast, Eagles and Phillies fan and loved the outdoors.  He was a doting and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Surviving with his wife are daughters, Jill and husband Joseph of Lower Milford and Lyn of Easton; granddaughter, Brianna and husband Stephen of Ireland; sisters Bertha Haynes of Philadelphia and Shirley Watson of Bethlehem,  and a host of nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brothers, Dr. John, Dr. Donald, Rev. William and Jack.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 8, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by burial in Nisky Hill Cemetery.  Family and friends may call from 10 - 11 a.m. Tuesday.
