Constance Louise Houser-Wenzel, 91, of Bethlehem, passed away April 4, 2024, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Charles Houser who died in 1984 and the late Dr. Leonard Wenzel who died in 2003.

Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Lehr) Koshko.

Surviving are three sons, Christopher Houser (Rebecca), Timothy Houser (Elizabeth), and Matthew Houser (Nancy), all of Bethlehem and five grandchildren.

Connie began her career in nursing as a registered nurse more than seventy years ago and has served in various positions in the health field throughout those years. Later in her career she received a Bachelor's of Nursing degree and also taught Nursing at Bethlehem Vocational Technical School.

She was a long time member of Fritz United Methodist where she served on multiple committees. Connie was very generous with support of community endeavors. She served as Past President of the Lioness Club, and was a member of Lehigh University Womens Club. She also devoted time and financial support to Allentown Symphony, Zoellner Center, Planned Parenthood and New Bethany Ministries. Connie was always active and enjoyed reading, walking, bird watching and gardening.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 12, in Fritz Memorial United Methodist Church, 309 West Packer Avenue, Bethlehem, followed by a reception at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Connie's memory may be sent to Planned Parenthood, 29 N. Ninth Street, Allentown, PA 18101, or New Bethany Ministries, 333 W. 4th Street, Bethlehem, PA  18015.
