David C. Greenawald, 69, of Bethlehem, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025, in the Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown.

Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Donald L. and Margaret R. (Nemeth) Greenawald.

He was employed by Apollo Metals, Bethlehem, and after retirement as a crossing guard for the Bethlehem Area School District.

David played Dart Baseball on the College Hill Moravian Church team in the Bethlehem Area Church Dart Baseball League for many years. An avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, New York Mets, and Los Angeles Lakers, he enjoyed going out to eat with friends and attending his grandson Matthew's baseball games.

Surviving are sons Jason and his wife Samantha of Germansville and Jamie of New Tripoli; daughter Kayla Kennet and her husband Michael of Macungie; brother Robert and his wife Lynn of Magnolia, Delaware; grandchildren Matthew, Aurora, and Emily; and nieces Keri and Dana.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 5, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Allentown. Family and friends may call from 10 AM until the service begins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in David's name may be made to the College Hill Moravian Church Dart Baseball team, c/o the funeral home.
