Denise L. Varadi, 47, of Nazareth, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, in St. Luke’s University Hospital, Anderson Campus.

Born in Queens, NY, she was a daughter of Laslo and Diane (Longo) Varadi of Bethlehem.

Denise loved spending time with her family and friends who benefited from her heart of gold. She was a caring, loving girl who will be missed by many. She was an avid reader. She kept in touch with her phone always at the ready, always willing to help someone in need. Denise was also very handy and could easily put anything together. If you needed an answer, she could provide it. Her sense of humor and ability to make you smile will be truly missed. She was a beloved mom to her cat, Dolly and before that, King.

Surviving in addition to her parents is a brother John of Bothell, WA, a sister Kimberly Daniels and husband Justin of Bethlehem, her best friend, Lisa Lockley, her Aunt Barbara Longo, Aunt Maki Saito-Varadi and Aunt Maddy and Uncle Ray Sgueglia, nieces and nephews; Marisa Varadi, Justin Daniels, Jr., Elliot Daniels, and Lily Daniels, as well as many beloved cousins. Denise was preceded in death by her grandparents; John and Edith Varadi and Frank and Louise Longo, Uncles Frank and Fred Longo, Aunt Carole Swanson, and Aunt Aggie Carrus.

Private services are entrusted to the Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
