Donald P. Green, 94, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022, in Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown. His wife of 72 years, Jean (Nauman) Green, died in 2019.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Peter S. and Judith (Brewer) Green.

Donald was employed at the Bethlehem Steel Co. for 43 years before retiring in 1991.

A member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Allentown, Donald sang in many choirs over the years, including the St. Luke's Hospital Choir. When his children were younger he coached Little League baseball and Boy's Club wrestling. He also volunteered with Meals on Wheels for more than 25 years.

Surviving are seven children, Lynn Pignatelli of Springfield, PA, Bruce Green of South Portland, Maine, Douglas Green of Bath, PA, Bryan Green of Allentown, PA, Clark Green of Port Matilda, PA, Susan Chenski of Bath, PA, and Jonathan Green of Bangkok; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 am Thursday, January 5, 2023, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by interment in Bethlehem Memorial Park. Family and friends are welcome to call Thursday from 10 am until the service begins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Donald's name may be sent to St. John's Lutheran Church, 37 South Fifth Street, Allentown, PA 18101.
