Donald C. Haney, 95, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 14, 2021.  He was the husband of the late Helen M. Haney, to whom he was married for 71 years.  Born in Frenchtown, NJ, he was the son of the late Edward and Myrtle (Davy) Haney.

Donald was a U.S. Navy veteran and later worked in the life insurance industry.  He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, as well as a trusted and valued friend.  He thoroughly enjoyed freshwater fishing, playing the piano and harmonica, painting, and playing cards.  He routinely enjoyed delivering pearls of wisdom and comedic gems from his life experiences and repertoire.  Even in his last hours he managed to make his family laugh.  He was a kind and gentle spirit and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his sister Gladys Farquhar of Mission Viejo, CA; daughters Donna Haney of Bethlehem and Robin Hudak of Yardley, PA; son Craig Haney and wife Monique of Nazareth; three grandchildren Sean, Luke and wife Nicole, and Tessa; and three great-grandchildren Vanya, Liam, and Giada.  He was predeceased by his brother Elwood.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
