Daddy, Danny, Donato DeGiglio, loving husband to Mary who predeceased him in 2014.  He was the father of three, grandfather of six, and great-grandfather of eleven.  At 95, he passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, December 4, 2021, in the company of his family and the comfort of his home and recliner.

He worked hard for many years as a produce manager, retiring at 62.  He was an avid Mets fan and loved the outer limits of space. He enjoyed Italian music, magic, fishing, bowling, traveling, and the occasional visit to the casino.  A merchant marine sea captain at 18, he left his family in Procida, Italy, traveled to the United States where he met Mom, learned to speak English, and became a citizen.

He worked many jobs and overcame a number of health obstacles over the years.  In spite of it all, he was able to lead a full and long life.  He was strong and stubborn, but always tried his best.  He was extremely blessed, lucky, and loved.  He will be deeply missed by his family and friends:

Family and friends are invited to Visitation on Thursday, December 9, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m and also from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA.  There will be an additional viewing in the church on Friday, December 10, from 10:30 -10:55 a.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 10, in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Santee Road, Bethlehem, PA, followed by burial in Holy Saviour Cemetery.
