Our mother, Donna J. Schumacher of Bethlehem PA, sadly passed away on May 5, 2023, at the age of 79 with her family by her side. She was a wonderful mother who loved and cherished her family, and was always there when we needed her.  Donna was born in Bethlehem, PA to Ernest L. Stark Sr. and Mary Irene (Connelly) Schreiber.

The most important thing to Donna was her family. She treasured the fact she could stay at home to raise her four girls, and essentially grow up with them, She loved coloring, playing Barbies, listening to music and dancing with her girls as they grew up, and when her grandchildren were born she was overjoyed that she was able to do it all over again by watching them while their parents worked. Donna loved to have parties, picnics, hosting holiday events and spending time with family and good friends. She enjoyed collecting Westmoreland milk glass, crocheting and most of all Santa Clauses.

She retired from Wells Fargo Bank and was a member of the North End Wanderers Athletic Association and the Rosemont Fire Co.

Donna will be lovingly remembered by her Daughters: Mary Koch, Maureen Benko, Colleen Macasevich and Kelly Rodriguez (Rob) as well as her grandchildren: Tim, Kenny, Michael, Shannon (Garrett), Sean, Adam and Alexa (Jose) great grandchildren: Jade, Aiden, Cole, Liam, Elizabeth, Kennedy, Regan and Riley, a brother Bernie Stark (Linda), a loving niece Mary Garman, as well as many other nieces, nephews and friends.

A Modern Day Irish Wake will be held on Thursday, May 11 ^th , 2023 at The North End Wanderers Athletic Association (annex bldg), 308 Woodlawn Ave, Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 2pm to 6pm.
