Doris J. Burns, 79, of Bethlehem, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020, in Luther Crest Nursing Care Center.  She was the wife of Albert L. Burns.  They celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary last June 11.

Born in Hosensack, she was a daughter of the late Douglas and Harriett (Hoffman) Long.

A 1958 graduate of Liberty High School, she worked at the State Police Barracks for ten years.

Doris was a devoted member of Life Church where she had been very active.  In addition to her church work, she was an avid Disney lover and made 65 trips to Walt Disney World.

Surviving with her husband, Albert, are daughters, Kelly Frain of Boyertown and Wendy Kline of Allentown; a son, Kevin Burns of Bethlehem; a sister, Elaine Wagaman of Allentown; and eight grandchildren.

Immediate service will be private.  There will be a memorial service announced at a later date.
