Doris M. Knouse, 93, of Bethlehem, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025. She was the wife of Walter Jack Knouse and the late Bernard V. Framhein who died in 1992 after 39 years of marriage.

Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Genevieve (Hyle) Price.

Doris was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem Township, and its Fellowship Club. An avid reader, she loved cross stitch, cards – bridge and canasta, and was a fierce competitor at games. She was also the "Queen of Bingo" but her greatest joy in life was spending time with family.

Surviving with her husband Jack are children, Debra Kubina-Cirillo (Ralph Cirillo) of Old Bridge, NJ, Kathy Beeg (Brian) of Brick, NJ, Kurt Framhein (Linda) of Bethlehem, and Kristine Kovacs (Kenneth) of Easton, PA; grandchildren, Michael Parusa (Erin), Jeanne Parusa (Casey), Kacie Heenan (Mike), Brian Beeg, Eric Framhein (Jennifer), Kristy Angstadt (Alex), Samantha Cauley (Anthony), and Daniel Kovacs (Felipe); great-grandchildren, Tea Reyes (Pedro), Dan Dey, Michael Parusa, Bella Parusa, Max Parusa, Andrew Framhein, Christian Framhein, Ledger Cauley, Brynn Trento, and Baby Cauley expected in August; a great-grandchild, Luna Reyes expected in May; step-children, Susan Williams (John) of Northampton, John Knouse (Cathy) of Bath, and Daniel Knouse (Kristie) of Coplay; step-grandchildren, Paige, Brooke, Dylan, and Max.

The viewing for Doris will be held on Saturday, March 15, from 9:00-9:45 AM in the church gathering space, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3219 Santee Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020. Burial will be at 1:00 PM Saturday in Holy Cross Cemetery, Jamesburg, New Jersey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
