Dorothy Ellen Adamcik, age 100, of Bethlehem, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025. She was the wife of the late Carl E. Adamcik for 73 years before his death in 2017.

Born in Middleport, PA on February 17, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Curvey) Dodds.

She was an active member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Bethlehem, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and sang in the choir.

Dorothy graduated from Blyth Township High School and St. Luke's School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse at St. Luke's for many years.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Angela Petrie and husband Brian, and Carolyn Adamcik; grandchildren Stefan Adamcik, Peter Sanchez (Allison), and Lian Bell (Chris); five great-grandchildren Benjamin Sanchez, Evan Adamcik, Owen Adamcik, Dresden Leitgeb, and Cooper Sanchez; a brother Ronald Dodds, and a brother-in-law Bernard Kertavage. She was predeceased by her daughter Penny Lou Dorward, a granddaughter Alexandra Leitgeb. siblings Elizabeth Delker (Charlie), Walter Dodds (Theresa), Mary Antol (John), and Helen Kertavage.

There will be a visitation at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 21, in St. Anne's Catholic Church, 450 E. Washington Avenue, Bethlehem, PA 18017, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
