Dorothy B. Bedics (nee Barth), 92, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully February 23, 2025. Dorothy was the loving wife of the late Joseph S. Bedics, Sr. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and doting on her granddaughter Elyse.

Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Hermina (Sommer) Barth.

Dorothy graduated from Holy Ghost Grade School and Bethlehem Catholic High School. Before she was married, she worked at Bethlehem Steel Co. and eventually retired from Lehigh University after more than 25 years of service. She also worked in her father's restaurant, Barth's Grille, in the Southside of Bethlehem.

She was an active member of Holy Ghost Church, Bethlehem, where she was a Eucharistic Minister, member of the Ladies' Sodality, Prime Time Seniors, Parish Social Committee, Pierogie Makers, and Noodle Makers. She enjoyed baking for their bake sales and playing bingo.

She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons Joseph, Jr., his wife Carolyn and their daughter, Elyse and John and his wife Marie in addition to many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph, daughter Dorothy, brother Leo Barth, sister Louise Kunsman, brother Raymond Barth, and sister Bernadine Knoblick.

Visitation will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 4, in St. Ursula's Roman Catholic Church, 1300 Broadway, Bethlehem, PA 18015, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery.
