Dorothyann (Hlavinka) Tritsch, 88, formerly of Pittsburgh, most recently of Lewisburg, went to be with her late husband Arthur on Monday, August 11th, 2025. She died peacefully at the Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg PA.

She was born October 12, 1936 in Dixon City, PA, daughter of the late Adolph and Anna Hlavinka, and grew up in Bethlehem, PA. On May 2, 1959 she married Arthur George Tritsch. They celebrated 63 years of marriage.

"Dottie" graduated from Liberty High School in Bethlehem in 1955 and trained as an administration assistant. A loving wife and mother, she also held positions at Bethlehem Steel, Mellon Bank, and a medical practice.

She was a longtime member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of South Hills, Whitehall PA.

Surviving are two sons, Eric Tritsch and his wife Shana, of Millheim, PA and Timothy Tritsch and his wife Susan, of Manasquan, NJ; a daughter, Ellen Brown and her husband Mark of Peoria, AZ, and five grandchildren, Gus, Huck, Anna, David and Ethan.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Hlavinka.

Services

A visitation will be held at Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street in Bethlehem, PA, Saturday August 30th at 2:00, with a memorial service to follow at 3:00. A reception will be held at the Artisan Wine and Cheese Cellar, 55 W Lehigh St, Bethlehem immediately following the service.

Both Dorothyann and Arthur will be interred together in a private ceremony at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
