Elizabeth J. Pavlish, 88, of Bethlehem, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017.  Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Walter Kuhns and Margaret (Edwards) Tomlinson.

A 1946 graduate of Fountain Hill High School, she graduated from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing, Philadelphia, in 1952.  She was employed as a registered nurse at St. Luke's Hospital for 35 years before retiring.

Elizabeth was a member of Fritz Memorial United Methodist Church and the Bethlehem Senior Center.  She enjoyed gardening, bowling and crossword puzzles.

Survivors: Daughter, Janis Belcak; son, Peter Pavlish; and granddaughter, Amy Slahta; all in Bethlehem.  She was predeceased by a brother Walter Kuhns, Jr.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem.  Calling hour 10 - 11 a.m. Tuesday.
