Ella was the daughter of Ralph and Margaret Spenney, and the sibling of two –

Julia and Alfred.

She was born in Long Branch New Jersey on May 31, 1929, and was raised in Red Bank, New Jersey. She departed this life on March 18, 2023, two months shy of her 94 ^th birthday.

Ella was called "Mitzi" by her beloved Grandmother Hampton. Ella attended Tinton Falls and River Street Elementary Schools and graduated from Red Bank Senior High School where she broke down barriers as the first multiethnic actress and drum majorette.

After graduation, she attended Monmouth Junior College and went on to Bellevue Hospital School of Nursing in New York City. She served in the military at Madigan Army Medical Center in Washington, where she won honors for diving and swimming for the United States Army.

She had extensive background and experience in delivery of health services, with expertise in bacteriology and phlebotomy, at the famous Cleveland Clinic, in Ohio.

She practiced real estate for over 50 years, was licensed in Ohio, New Jersey and Florida, and earned the status of Realtor Emeritus.

She was involved in community affairs and was a member of the Forest City Dental Wives, Allied Health Group, and sang at and taught Sunday School in the Church.

She touched the lives of many people who couldn't help themselves, especially the elderly.

She joined Congregation Beth El Gibor, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania 15 years ago where she had the pleasure of continuing to deepen her faith in Yeshua.

She is predeceased by her parents, her daughter Jacqueline, her sister Julia, and her brothers Alfred, and James. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Victor, her daughter Kimberly, her son Robert, her granddaughter Yasmine, cherished cousins, and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, March 23, at Temple Beth El Gibor, 1555 Linwood Street, Bethlehem, PA 18017, with burial following in Bethlehem Memorial Park.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ella's name may be sent to the Synagogue.
