Ethel (Sancza) Bolash, 99, of Bethlehem died Easter Sunday, April 20th, 2025 in her home surrounded by family. She was the wife of the late Frank Bolash for 60 years.

Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ethel Sancza. Ethel, "Fuzzy", was a devoted wife and mother who left her job at Western Electric to raise her family. She was a tireless worker who dedicated her life to her family and church, where among her countless contributions was most notably serving as organist over the course of seven decades. She was a kind and gentle person. Her meticulous and exacting nature was manifest in everything she did including her beautiful quilts, bountiful vegetable gardens, and delicious Hungarian pastries.

She will always be remembered as a loving and faithful wife, mother, and friend by her sons David of Macungie, Gary and Jeffrey, both of Bethlehem; grandchildren Nissi, Kelsey, and Kayla; and sons' spouses, Hanna and Lisa. She was preceded in death by her sister Irene.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, April 25th, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by burial in Hellertown Union Cemetery. Call 10-11 AM Friday.
