Eva R. Lehr of Bethlehem passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late Richard Henry Lehr.

Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Charles Jacob and Gussie Eva (Wert) Renninger.

A 1948 graduate of Liberty High School, Eva was employed as an executive secretary at the Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 30 years until retiring in 1984.

A member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fountain Hill, she belonged to AARP, Fountain Hill Golden Hillers, and was involved in Girl Scouting as a scout and leader years ago.

Eva is survived by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters June A. Scharr, Barbara A. Altieri, Doris M. DiGiacinto and brothers John F. Renninger, Charles J. Renninger, Jr. and Thomas J. Renninger, Sr.

Services will be held on Wednesday, March 19, at 11 AM in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by interment in Nisky Hill Cemetery. There will be a viewing Wednesday from 10 AM until the service begins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the charity of choice.
