Francis J. "Joe" Williams, 83, of Bethlehem Township, passed away May 14, 2022.  He was the husband of Judith R. (Eisenhart) Williams for 59 years.

Born in Vandling, PA, he was a son of the late James and Emma (Piatkowski) Williams.

He received a B.S. Ed. (Math) from Kutztown University in 1961, and an M.A. in Mathematics from Villanova University in 1968.  Mr. Williams began his teaching career in the Haverford School District in 1961  then moved to Liberty High School, Bethlehem, from 1969 until retiring in 1995.  While teaching math at Liberty he coached the Mathematics Team and Scholastic Scrimmage Team.

An avid outdoorsman, Joe loved hunting, fishing, traveling, and camping.  He learned to gold pan in the American River in Oregon.  He and his family had many adventures.  He loved his beagles.

Surviving with his wife Judy, are daughters, Joanne Williams Marshaleck of Bethlehem Township and Jennifer Williams McKenzie (Andrew) of Audobon, PA; a sister Judy Davis of Rock Cave, WV; and grandchildren Jamie, Maggie and Ellis.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
