Florence A. Romanell, 88, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020, in St. Luke's Hospice House.  She was the wife of the late Salvadore L. Romanell.

Born in Freeland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Carmella (Avillion) Solon.

Florence was a Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Luke's for many years before retiring.  She was previously a jewelry buyer for Orr's Department Store.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bethlehem Township.  An avid shopper, she loved travelling with her husband especially on their dream trip to Hawaii.

Surviving are three daughters, Sally Ann Kerchner of Easton, Janice Del Vecchio of Bethlehem and Michelle Beardsley of Doylestown; two sons, Joseph Romanelli in NJ and Phillip Romanelli of Bethlehem; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The Mass of Christian Burial and interment will be private at this time with a service to be held after the pandemic restrictions have been eased.
