Frederick D. Williams, 84, of Bethlehem, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospice.  His wife of 56 years, Margie A. (Taylor) Williams died in 2015.

Born in Slatington, he was a son of the late William R. and Mabel (Naylor) Williams.

He was a Budget Administrator at the Bethlehem Steel Co. before retiring.  Frederick faithfully served his country for twelve years in the U. S. Army at Fort Knox.

A member of Emmanuel E.C. Church, Bethlehem, he graduated from Liberty High School in 1951 where he was statistician/manager of the LHS baseball team.  Frederick  was an avid Philadelphia sports fan supporting the Phillies, Eagles, Sixers and Flyers.  He was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather, known not only as Grandpa, but also Uncle Freddy.

Surviving are a son, David (Kimberly) with whom he resided; a daughter, Diane of Lehigh Township; grandson, Jason (Kristin) and great-grandchildren, Landon and Jaden.  He was predeceased by a brother, Robert.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 9, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA, followed by Military Honors in Bethlehem Memorial Park.  Family and friends may call Saturday from 10 - 11 a.m.
