Gavin Spencer Zaun, 23, of Bethlehem, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 30, 2021, of complications from Type 1 Diabetes.  He was born on March 15, 1998, and loved deeply by parents Donna and Bill Mains and Jeff and Karen Zaun.

He will be lovingly remembered by his brother and best friend Hunter Zaun, younger brother Keaton Zaun, stepsister Jennifer Lesak, grandmothers Rose Mains and Ruth Zaun and good friend Meghan Thorrick.  Gavin also had many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who were very important in his life.  He will now be joyfully reunited with his grandmother Naomi Vought.

In his youth Gavin played baseball at North Central, football for the BTAA, and football and soccer for Northeast Middle School.  His favorite sport was wrestling which he started at the age of five at Notre Dame where he was coached by his dad.  He then went on to wrestle at Liberty High School.

Gavin was a 2016 graduate of Liberty High School.  He worked as Assistant Culinary Manager at Bonefish Grille in Montgomeryville.  He loved his job and took great pride in his work.  He enjoyed fishing, hiking, and driving his new dream car - a blue Subaru WRX.

Gavin had a heart of gold and always found happiness when helping others.  By fulfilling his wish of being an organ donor his legacy continues in the lives of others.

A Celebration of Gavin's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 7, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by burial in Bethlehem Memorial Park.  Family and friends may call Thursday, May 6, from 5 - 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until servicetime.  Please consider honoring Gavin by wearing his favorite color - Blue.
