Gerald J. Albert, 83, of Bethlehem, died Saturday, June 17, 2017, in his home.  He was the husband of Dolores (Lopes) Albert.  They were married 41 years last August.

Gerald was employed by the Bethlehem Steel for 42 years before retiring and also as a bartender at Brancos Lounge.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church.

He enjoyed working in his yard and enthusiastically decorated his house for holidays; he especially loved creating Halloween and Christmas displays that drew many visitors.

Survivors: Wife, Dolores; daughters, Cheryl (Alan) Romaniello and Tina Brown; son, Jerry Bozio; siblings, Connie Burghardt, Marge Russo, George Albert and Carol Chasar; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Services: Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 23, in St. Anne's Church, preceded by prayers in the funeral home at 9:45 a.m.  Viewing hours will be 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 - 9:45 a.m. Friday in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem.  Burial will be private.
