Harry R. Sheather, 93, of Lower Saucon Township, passed away September 13, 2022, in St.Luke's Hospital.  He was the husband of Elizabeth (Thoburn) Sheather and the late Janet (Stanton)Sheather, who died in 1992.

Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Harry was a son of the late Stephen and Mabel (Ryan) Sheather.

He served his country in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War.

Harry was a chemistry professor at Union County College before retiring.

He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, and Grace Church of Bethlehem.

Surviving with his wife, Libby, are a daughter, Kathleen Schinestuhl, and husband William of Mountainside, NJ; a son, Stephen, and wife Lorraine of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 19, in Grace Church of Bethlehem, 521 E. Locust Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018.  Relatives and friends are welcome to call from 10 - 11 a.m. Monday in the church.  Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, in Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, New Jersey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Grace Church of Bethlehem.
