Harvey A. Diefenderfer, Jr., 84, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 31, 2023, in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patricia (Zakeski) Diefenderfer and son Michael.

Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Harvey A. Sr. and Mildred (Lutz) Diefenderfer.

Harvey was a machinist at the Bethlehem Corporation for 44 years before retiring in 2000. After retiring, he found great joy in woodworking and constructed many birdhouses for family and friends. He was an avid Cleveland Browns and New Jersey Devils fan.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5, from 2 PM to 3 PM in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem.
