Helen R. Daniels, 98, of Nazareth, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away September 11, 2025. Her husband of 52 years, Richard J. Daniels, preceded her in death in 2017.

Born in Lightstreet, PA, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Martha (Lawton) Tedesco and raised by Anthony Huyter. She was employed as a sewing machine operator for Laros and various Lehigh Valley silk mills.

Helen was a long time member of the former St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, which is now Blessed Trinity Lutheran Church at Rosemont. She was an avid knitter.

Surviving are her daughter, Colleen Cunningham Lavdar and husband John Lavdar of Nazareth; two sisters, Millicent Ferraira and husband Robert of Bethlehem and Shirley Licsko and companion Glenn Miller of West Melbourne, FL; granddaughter, Erin and husband Matt; two great-grandsons, David and Anthony; and a great-great grandson. She was predeceased by four sisters, Rosa Derr, Carrie Jean Williams, Patsy Comer and Sandra Hawkey; and a brother, Cortez Tedesco.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 23, at 11:00 AM in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem. Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until the service begins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Wounded Warriors or the church.
