Ina C. Voortman, of Bethlehem, passed away May 9, 2022, three days before her 90th birthday, which she was looking forward to celebrating.

Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Jenson and Hilma (Kichline) Ehret.

Ina was employed as a nurse's aide for many years before retiring.

A member of First UCC Church, Hellertown, she was an avid reader and loved traveling in her earlier years.  She attended many local high school theater performances.  Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the lights of her life.

Surviving is her son James E. Voortman (Carol) of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Stacy Chase (Judd), Kevin Voortman (Katy), and Kimberly Zettel (David); great-grandchildren, Gwendolynn and Declan.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, May 16, in Union Cemetery of Hellertown.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
