Jacqueline M. Brueningsen, 92, of Bethlehem, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021.  She was the wife of the late Eugene T. Brueningsen.

Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Austin and Ida Mae (Maley) Shiffert.

Jacqueline was a member of Light of Christ Lutheran Church.  She served in the Altar Guild while a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, and loved to draw and paint.

Surviving are two sons, Thomas of Bethlehem and Christopher of Saltsburg, PA; two sisters, Nancy Bellman of Slatington and Deborah Shiner of Greensboro, NC; four grandchildren, Sam and Mera Brueningsen, Jessica Sinsky and Kate Pitts;  three great-grandchildren, Ava and Lila Sinsky and Jamie Pitts.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  The Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem, is assisting the family with arrangements. (pearsonfh.com)
