James N. Bartholomew, 91, formerly of Bethlehem, died Friday, February 9, 2018, in Saucon Valley Manor.  Irene (Schimeneck) Bartholomew, his wife of 52 years, died in 2002.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Charles and Esther (DeLong) Bartholomew.

A World War II Navy veteran, Jim was a foreman at Spirax Sarco before retiring.  He was a founder of the Northwest Little League.  Jim will be lovingly remembered for his wonderful outlook on life and his engaging smile.

Surviving are a son, Jim, and his wife Gina of Bethlehem, a daughter, Karen Unger of Bethlehem, grandsons, Jimmy, Matt and wife Jill, Drew and Tim, and great-grandchildren, Landon and Harper.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements, Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
