James A. Pongitory, 73, of Bethlehem Township, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020, in Old Orchard Health Care Center.  He was the husband of Elaine D. (Stetson) Pongitory for 52 years.

Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Anthony and Antoinette (Donofrio) Pongitory.

Jim was employed as a computer developer for many years, most recently at Olympus before retiring.

He enjoyed reading, spending time at the beach, and working with stained glass.

Surviving with his wife, Elaine, are a daughter, Michelle Cardellino of Lake Ariel; a son, Marc Pongitory, and wife April of Quakertown; sisters, Linda Wheatley of Wildwood Crest, NJ and Nancy Trotter Pongitory in Arizona; grandchildren, Jennifer, Cheyenne and Angelina; great-grandchildren, Addriana, Chase and Cameron.

In accordance with Jim's wishes, there will be no services at this time, but a family gathering will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jim's name may be sent to the Heartland Hospice.
