James C. Schoenk, Sr., 75, of Haines City, FL, passed away April 30, 2023 in Florida. He was the husband of Sonia (Cueter) Schoenk for 39 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late William and Elizabeth (Muffet) Schoenk.

A 1967 graduate of William Allen High School, James was employed at Mack Trucks for more than 33 years before retiring. He faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army 82 ^nd Airborne during the Vietnam War. Throughout his life he enjoyed auto body restoration.

Surviving with his wife Sonia are sons, Adrian and Aaron both of Allentown, James Jr. of Vass, NC and Mark of Haines City, FL; brothers, Bill of Portland, OR and Frederick of Allentown; and a granddaughter. He was predeceased by a son Dennis.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11 AM Friday, May 5, in Bethlehem Memorial Park, 1851 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA.
