Jane C. Ferenczy, of Bethlehem, passed away after a brief illness on May 31, 2024. Born in Bethlehem, PA, she was the daughter of William and Velma (Muschlitz) Ferenczy.

After graduating from Bethlehem High School, Jane was employed in the claims department at The Bethlehem Steel until its closure. Later, she was the secretary at Edgeboro Moravian Church, a job she truly enjoyed, until her retirement.

Jane was a member of Advent Moravian Church, where she sang with the choir and taught Sunday School. An avid animal lover, she would go out of her way to help animals or strays in need. She especially loved her cats Rusty, Smokey, Toby, and Tommy, who were all rescues. She also enjoyed sewing, reading, bird watching, the beach, and various crafts.

Jane is fondly remembered by her son Mark, and his partner Carol, 7 nieces and a nephew, a step-granddaughter and 2 step-great-grandchildren, and many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, sister Connie Geisenderfer, and brothers William Ferenczy, Jr. and Edward Ferenczy.

Service and internment will be private at her request.
