Janis A. Belcak, 72, of Bethlehem, passed away Friday, June 26, 2026, in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth J. (Kuhns) Pavlish.

Janis was employed by Hamilton Printing for many years. She had been a member of Fritz Memorial United Methodist Church, Bethlehem. She loved cats and was a big fan of David Bowie and Elton John.

Surviving are her daughter Amy Slahta-Tighe and husband Augustine Tighe of Easton; and her brother Peter Pavlish of Bethlehem.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 6, at 11:00 AM in Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery. The Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem, has been entrusted with her arrangements.
